Mrs. Betty Jo Reese, age 70, of St. Pauls, NC, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, at UNC Hospital at Chapel Hill, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on February 6, 1953 to the late Quenton & Rachel Powers Reese.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Franklin Kersey, and her brother, Ronald Reese.

She is survived by her brother, Brian Reese; her sisters, Amanda Reese Walters and Patricia Reese Snipes; her grandchildren, Alisha Reese and Brianna Reese; her great-granddaughter, Anna-Lease Reese; and her niece, Romi Davis, and her children, Justine Carter and Jeremy Carter.
