Ms. Betty Lois Oxendine, age 84, of Pembroke entered into rest on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born February 6, 1942 in Robeson County to the late Luther Oxendine and the late Elouise Roland Oxendine.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Oxendine; three sons, Larry, Robert, and Fabian Oxendine; six brothers, Robert, James, Buster, HB, Will, and June Oxendine; three sisters, Mary Hull, Elizabeth and Beth Oxendine.

She leaves to cherish her memories, five sons, Gary Oxendine (Virginia Dale), Opie, Ray Charles (Amber), Eddie Wayne and Tony Ray Oxendine, all of Rowland; three daughters, Gloria Ann Machin (John) of Rock Hill, Martha Ann Jones (Laten) of Pembroke, and Edith Ann Wilson (Danny) of Burlington; one sister, Shirley Collins of Pembroke; twenty-seven grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont.

The funeral will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 PM in the chapel.

Burial will also follow in Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, 3047 East McDonald Road, Fairmont.
