Mrs. Betty Jean Evans Little, 85, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, at River's Edge Nursing Facility in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on January 11, 1938 to the late Wilbert & Margaret Evans. As a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking meals for her family and, in her free time, she liked knitting.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Autrey Lee Little; her brother, Bill Evans; and her sister, Doris Kirkland.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas Smith and wife Sheila of Maggie Valley, NC and Autrey Little, Jr. and wife Yvonne of Raleigh, NC; 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Anthony Rich officiating.
