Betty Jane Jacobs, 72, of 503 East 10th Street, Lumberton died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, Tommy C. Hunt and Quessie Jacobs, a daugther, Vivian Jane Jacobs and a sister, Aleithea Jacobs.

She is survived by a son, Woodel Jacobs and wife, Anita of Lumberton; three daugthers, Anette Jacobs and Rick Cline of Fairmont, Jeanne Kott and husband, Matthew of East Granby, CT and Lisa Carol Jacobs of Fairmont, NC; a sister, Eunice Hunt of Fairmont, NC; a special nephew, Melvin Gerald Jacobs of Virginia; seven grandchildren, Lisa Michelle Jacobs, Joshua Jacobs, Nicholas C. Locklear, Celeste N. Hunt, Jordan A. Kott, Telisha L. Oxendine and Mary A. Cline and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Fairmont at 2:00PM with the Rev. Ricky Burnette and Rev. Lacey Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Reedy Branch Baptist Church in Fairmont.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory in Lumberton.
