Betty Kathryn Smith Ivey, age 85, of Fairmont passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 2:00PM at Bethesda United Methodist Church with Rev. Amanda Bunce officiating.

Burial will follow in Ivey-Jenkins Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7-9PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Ms. Ivey was born March 12, 1931 in Dillon County, SC. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lela Church Smith; her husband, Vernon Ivey; two brothers, Paul and Ferd Smith; two sisters, Vernelle Koester and Bronte Drummond.

Ms. Ivey is survived by three sons, Gene Ivey of Lyman, SC, Tony Ivey (Stephanie) of Orrum, NC and Jason Ivey of Fairmont, NC; one daughter, Kathy Bullock (Mitchell) of Orrum, NC; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
