Ms. Betty Anne Inman Floyd, age 88, of Fairmont, NC passed away Friday, March 28, 2025.

Ms. Betty was born October 20, 1936 in Robeson County to the late Joseph Raymond Inman and the late Amelia Thompson Inman.

She grew up in a large family in Rowland, NC where she learned the value of working hard, and caring for others. She graduated from Rowland High School in 1955 and then married the love of her life Ralph Floyd on July 24th of the same year. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, directed children's choirs, and was honored as Lay Person of the Year in 2001. She was talented singer and enjoyed playing the piano. Betty Anne was also known an outstanding homemaker. As an accomplished cook and seamstress, she helped feed and clothe many families and friends through the years. She and Ralph ran Betterways Incorporated, where they produced Weathershades for rural mail carries. She was very dedicated to her family and friends. She will be missed terribly by all who loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph McMillian Floyd, her siblings, Roger Inman, William Inman, Wilbert Inman, Robert Inman, Johnny Inman, Dick Inman, Martha Inman Smith, and Pat Inman.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph McMillian Floyd (Karen) of Concord, NC and Keith Williams Floyd (Susan) of Fairmont; NC; and honorary son, Greg Pesicka (Gwen); two daughters, Cheryl Anne Floyd of Shallotte, NC and Sharon Floyd Lewis (Tim) of Fairmont, NC; six grandchildren, Mac, Dustin, Sarah, Leah, Haley, and Luke; and five great- grandchildren, Katelyn, Lauren, Tyler, Matthew, and Anna.

"The family would like to thank two very special ladies, Marilyn Clark and Ernestine Walker, for helping to take care of mama for the past few years."

Visitation will be Monday, March 31, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc.,1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 11:00AM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Fairmont, NC. Burial will follow at Floyd Memorial Cemetery.
