Betty Faye Cunningham, age 70, of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born on May 2, 1941 in Bladen County.

She is survived by two sons, John A. Slicker of Vass, NC and Reggie Slicker of Fayetteville, NC; one daughter, Debra Withers of Covesville, VA; two brothers, Robert Meares of Lumberton, NC and Paul Smith of Virginia; four sisters, Ruth Jenkins of Castle Hayne, NC, Frances Laramee of St. Pauls, Gloria Stanley of Parkton, NC and Shirley Bumatay of Burlington, NC; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday evening, January 1, 2012 from 6:00-8:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:00AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Carson Hilburn officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton.
