With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Beth Ann Ries Parker, age 63, who departed this life on Wednesday, February 3, 2026, in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Beth was a loving mother, full of life, warmth, and compassion, a devoted grandmother, and a cherished daughter, sister, and friend. She was originally from Canton, Ohio, and was well known for her tremendous love for her grandchildren. Beth loved to travel — especially going on cruises — where she found joy, peace, and adventure.

Everyone who encountered Beth became a part of her family. She was a light to the world, always willing to help anyone in need, deserving or undeserving. Her kindness, humor, generosity, and wisdom touched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Parker; her daughters, Tabatha Jacobs (Terry) and Amber McQueen (Khali); her grandchildren: Keyera, Peyton, and Kayden; and her son, John Beatty, and his children, Khloe and Brody.

Though her passing was unexpected, we take comfort in knowing she was not alone and that she is now at peace. Her legacy of love, resilience, and care will remain with us always.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.
