Sarah Elizabeth "Beth" Mitchell Leggett age 53, of 3486 White Pond Rd. Fairmont passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Troy "E.T." Mitchell and Sarah Alice Elvington Mitchell; a son, Robert Mitchell "Mitch" Lamb. She was born March 9, 1960 in Dillon County, S.C. She was a 1978 graduate of Fairmont High School and was employed by BB&T Bank of Fairmont. She is survived by her husband, Ricky; a son, Matthew Lamb of Greenville, NC; two brothers, Elbert Troy Mitchell, Jr. and wife Candy both of Charlotte; Chris Mitchell and wife Kim both of Fairmont; one sister, Linda Leggett and husband Jeff of Fairmont; brother-in-laws, Jake Leggett and wife Carolyn and Donald Leggett and wife Joyce; sister-in-law, Allison Martin and husband Steve; two nieces, Kasey and Morgan Leggett; one nephew, Nicholas Mitchell. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 25th 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Fairmont First Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tyner officiating. Burial will be in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.
