Mrs. Beth Ammons Brisson, age 86, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021, at her home. She was born in Robeson County, NC on October 20, 1934 to the late Hubert & Vashti Rowan Ammons. She was a social worker for the Public Schools of Robeson County for many years before retirement.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Grant and Jan Sessoms.

She is survived by a son, Steve Graham and wife Laura of Todd, NC; two daughters, Candi Hester and husband Lee and Carole Allen and husband Jim, all of Lumberton, NC; 5 grandchildren: Ryan Hester and wife Sarah of Midland, NC, Andrew Hester of Ft. Stewart, GA, Harrison Hester of Moody AFB, Valdosta, GA, Patrick Taylor of Palatine, IL, and Lisa Miller of Boone, NC; 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Hal Ammons and wife Billye of Rockwall, TX.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 2, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC, and other times at the family home located at 1548 Indian Heritage Road in Lumberton, NC.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 4:00 PM at Hyde Park Baptist Church, 301 N. Roberts Avenue in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Mark Meadows and Dr. Jeff Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
