Mrs. Barbara Taylor Walters, age 77, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Southeastern Hospice House of Lumberton. She was born in Chester County, SC on September 15, 1937 to the late Walter Taylor and the late Caroleen Taylor. She was an RN at Southeastern Regional Medical Center for 40 years. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Taylor. She is survived by her husband, Mitchel Walters of the home; one son, Kent Walters and wife, Myra, of Lumberton; two daughters: Charlotte Dyson and husband, Randy, of Lumberton and Michelle Walters of Lumberton; and one grandchild, Autumn Walters. A time of visitation will take place on Friday, February 27, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 12:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Dr. Lynn Bullock officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery.
