Barbara Annette Roberts, age 81, of Lumberton, NC passed away Friday, June 14, 2024, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. Barbara was born in Robeson County on Saturday, November 28, 1942 to the late Furman Allen and Jerlean Smith Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Allen.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, sister, "Granny", and great-grandmother. She loved her family, friends, and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her brother, Donald Ray Allen (Malisa), her husband, Herbert Colon "Pete" Roberts III, and her sons: John Mark Roberts (Kristina), James Kevin Roberts (Paula), and Herbert Colon Roberts IV (Rebecca). She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Taylor Roberts, Kelli Roberts, Lucas McNeill (Jade), Dalton Roberts, and Kameron Roberts. Extended family included: Erica Walters (Chris) as well as great-grandchildren: Isla, Jon Luke, Landon, Nixon, Lily, and Hattie. And a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 17 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, 809 E. East 5th Street, Lumberton. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 17, at 11:00 am at Floyd Mortuary Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street. Burial will be at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road, Lumberton, NC.
