Barbara Ann Funderburk Oxendine, 77, of Winston-Salem, NC, formerly of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on December 12, 1936. She previously worked as a sewer for Steadman Company. Along with her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie "Bud" Dean Oxendine and a son, Frankie Threatt. Mrs. Oxendine is survived by her mother, Lucille Loomis of Mullins, SC; sons, Jamie Threatt of High Point, Dennis Threatt of Winston-Salem, and Richard Hambley of Charlotte; daughters, Cindy Revels of Lumberton and Cora Lynn Davis of Puerto Rico; a brother, Marty Loomis of Aynor, SC; sisters, Ozell Page of Mullins, SC, Brenda Huggins of Dillon, SC, Martha Griffin of Monroe, and Geraldine Rhinedhart of Rockwell; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 12:30 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel wit Rev. Richard Hambley officiating. Burial will follow in Elrod Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, prior to the service, from 10:00-12:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.
