Ms. Barbara Ann Hunt age 60 of NC Hwy. 130 E. Fairmont passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 peacefully with her family by her side at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 3:00PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Revs. Ricky Burnett, James Graham, and James Earl Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Fair Point Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 7-9pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. She was born February 19, 1954 in Robeson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bunion Hunt and Elleree Hunt; and her husband of thirty years, Jerry Wayne Hunt; two sisters, Willa Mae Brooks and Shirley Bullard; and a brother, Percell Hunt. She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Jason Wayne Hunt and wife Kellie of Lumberton; two daughters, Jessica Hunt and husband Brennon of the home, and Ashley Hunt of Lumberton four granddaughters, Breanna, Brittany, Alyssa, and Alera Hunt and a loving grandson, Brennon Micheal Hunt; five sisters, Gladys (Homer) Freeman and Brenda (Ronald) Carter both of Lumberton, Iler Mae Freeman, and Rebecca Hunt both of Fairmont, Blondie (Waymond) Oxendine of Red Springs; two brothers, Willie C. Hunt and Branford (Debbie) Hunt of Fairmont; special friends, Marlene Scott, Patsy Hunt and Donnella Turner; and a special caregiver, Elizabeth Lowery.
