Barbara Anne Britt's Obituary
Barbara Anne Gore Britt, age 71, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County on June 12, 1944 to the late William Thomas and Bessie Singletary Gore. She previously worked of Jasper Mills as a machine operator.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse Andrew Britt, and brother, James Howard Joe Gore.
Mrs. Britt is survived by a son, Kevin Britt of Lumberton; daughters, Jill Britt and fiancé, Jason Prevatte of Lumberton, and Gina Britt Hardin and husband, Jeff of TN; a brother, Gerald Gore of Oklahoma City, OK; and five grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mark Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service at the Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.
