Mrs. Barbara Ann Carroll West, 75, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on June 27, 1946 to the late Jimmy Carroll and the late Kathleen Ganus Carroll. She will be remembered for her many years serving as Hostess of First Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Ganus.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce West of the home; a son, Steven West and wife Jeanie of Lumberton, NC; two grandchildren, Stephanie Smith and husband Jonathan and Ashley Richards and husband Michael; two great-grandchildren, Jase Smith and Xander Richards; two sisters, Ella Raney and husband Bob and Kathy Rooks and husband Tony, all of Lumberton, NC; her beloved dog, Pebbles; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, January 9, 2022, from 2:30-3:00 PM at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. Robert Jordan officiating.
