Baby Lucas Dean Bruce died Saturday, December 31, 2016, the day he was born, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

He is survived by his father, Michael Paul Bruce and his mother, Tammy Sykes of the home and a brother, Dalton Oliver Bruce all of the home; paternal grandparents, Michael Dean and Libby Bruce of Lumberton; and maternal grandmother, Susie Sykes of Lumberton.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.  A time for visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.
