Mr. Aubrey Ivey, age 86 of 4697 NC Hwy. 904 Fairmont passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Oakdale Church of God at 3 pm. Burial will be at the Ivey Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, October 7, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. He was born December 10, 1926 in Robeson County to the late John Sidney Ivey and Nooner Lewis Ivey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Sheppie, Preston, Brodger and sister, Veronia Ivey Dudley, his wife Dorene Tyndall Ivey and daughter Betty Ivey Sealey, his second wife Louise Owens Bullock Ivey and son Bobby Bullock. He is survived by his daughter Nancy Ivey Barnes, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, son, Roger Dale Ivey (Kathy) of St. Pauls, NC, daughters, Marilyn Bullock Prevatte (Tony), Betty Bullock Gorton (Steve), Denese Bullock Prevatte (Tommy), son Donnie Bullock (Julie), daughter-in-law, Joan Bullock Parnell. Nineteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Special son, Shelton Hill, of Orrum NC, and a host of other relatives and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
