Attley Donald Locklear, age 74, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Southeastern Health in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County, NC on July, 3, 1939 to the late Barrell and Mary Catherine Sampson Locklear. He previously worked as a custodian for Cumberland County Schools. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Mr. Locklear is survived by his wife, Grayce Locklear of the home; sons, Donald Locklear of the home and Ronald Locklear and wife, Angie of Fayetteville; daughters, Tina Locklear of Fayetteville, Brenda Stephen and husband, Dennis of Edgewood, MD, and Natasha Conely and husband, Chris of Fayetteville; a brother, Glenwood Locklear of Fayetteville; a sister, Annie Neal Locklear of Fairmont; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Full Gospel Holiness Church with Rev. Sanford Chavis, Rev. Jereal Brewer, and Apostle J.A. McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the Full Gospel Holiness Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.
