Athea Stone McLean, 81, of 1170 Linkhaw Road, died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Southeastern Hospice House. She was born to the late Lonnie and Viola Stone on November 10, 1926 in Robeson County.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Pam Britt.
She is survived by Jeff McLean and wife, Beverly of Lumberton; 4 daughters, Ann Britt and husband, Thomas of Lumberton, Lynn Andrews and husband, Albert E. of Lumberton, Deborah Britt and husband, Ernest of Lumberton and Teresa Johnson and husband, Freddy of St. Pauls; 1 brother, Ray Stone of Lumberton; 1 sister, Louise Smith of Glen Burnie, MD; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
The graveside service will be Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Meadowbrook Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Pittman officiating.
The family will receive friends after services at Meadowbrook Cemetery and at the home of Deborah Britt, 218 Stirling Drive.
