Mr. Ashley Kendall Hunt, age 37, of Fairmont, recently passed away.  He was born in Robeson County on July 11, 1980 to Terry R. Strickland and to the late Ernestine Hunt Locklear.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Strickland and his maternal great-grandparents, Julius and Thelma Hunt.

He leaves to cherish his memories with his father, Terry R. Strickland and wife, Lynn of Whiteville; his step-father, Gurney Locklear of Fairmont; one brother, Brandon Strickland of Asheville; one sister, Amanda Moore of Greenville, NC; his grandmother, Bonnie Strickland of Whiteville and host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A private committal will take place at Benson Chapel Church Cemetery in Rowland at a later date.
