Mr. Arthur Wade Smith, age 76, of 702 Morro St. Fairmont died Monday, January 7, 2013 at Southeastern Health in Lumberton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Baltimore Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tyner officiating.

Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Floyd Funeral services in Fairmont.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Byrne Smith and Annie Hardin Smith; two brothers, Howard and Sam Smith; four sisters, Pearl Smith, Kathleen Lee, Evon Simmons and Annie Ruth Perkins.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Smith of the home; a daughter, Susan McLellan and husband Tony of Fairmont; two sons, Kevin Smith and wife Mary of Rowland and Keith Smith of Orrum; one sister, Glenda Smith and husband Jerry of Wilmington; six grandchildren, Tray, Brandi, Kiley, Layne, Marley and Neal.
