Arthur James "Jim" Mackie II, age 49 of Fairmont passed away March 3, 2013 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Alexander Mackie, Sr. and Elizabeth Downey Mackie. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Hicks Mackie of the home; one son, Malcolm A. Mackie of the home; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Ochoa of Greenwood, SC; a brother, Edward Alexander Mackie, Jr. of Greenwood, SC. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice or First Baptist Church Fairmont or Malcolm Mackie's College Fund.
