Mrs. Arlinda "Bell" Jones, age 66, of Fairmont, NC passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Scotland Hospice of Laurinburg, NC.

Know to everyone as "Bell", she was born December 8, 1958 in Robeson County to the late Arrester Oxendine and the late Armindia Oxendine.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, D.L. McGirt; a sister, Lena Bell Oxendine; a brother, Arrester, "OX", Oxendine, Jr.; her paternal grandmother, Irene Oxendine; maternal grandparents, Frank and Almina Bartley; a step-daughter, Vanessa Lynn Jones.

Bell was a 1977 graduate of Fairgrove High School. She loved to play softball and would play in tournaments through the county. She loved gardening, and was a member of Out Reach Ministries in Lumberton.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Jones of the home; a daughter, MaKenley Oxendine of Fairmont; one sister and caregiver, Mary Helen Hunt of Rowland her second family, the employees of Oxendine Farm and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 1:00-2:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont. The funeral will immediately follow in the chapel at 2:00pm.

Burial will follow in Fairpoint Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
