Arister Oxendine, of 114 Grantham Loop Rd. Rowland went home to be with the Lord on April 2, 2014, a journey of 78 wonderful years. He was born May 2, 1935 to the late Irene Oxedine. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Revs. Ricky Burnette and Lennie Jacobs officiating. He was preceded in death by a daughter Lena Bell Oxendine; a grandson, DL McGirt; and a brother, Layton Oxendine. He leaves the cherish memory of his wife Arminda Oxendine of 57 years. A special granddaughter Vallane Oxendine of the home; a friend, Timothy Turner Jr.(TJ), and a host of beloved family and friends. Also, thanks to a special care giver, Lisa Oxendine and Dr. Paul Gordon. Family and friends are welcome to visit the home at 114 Grantham Loop Rd. Rowland, NC 28383.
