Archie Kay Lewis, age 49, died at his home in Greensboro, NC on Thursday, November 26, 2009. He was the son of Horace Mitchell Lewis and Annie Bell Oxendine Lewis, born on May, 19 1960. He worked in construction as a roofer.

He is survived by his mother, Annie Bell Tillman; one son, Harlon Kay Lewis of Lumberton, NC; one brother, Kenneth Lewis of Liberty, NC; three sisters, Peggy Hunt and Jennifer Lewis of Greensboro, NC and Joann Chavis of Fairmont, NC; and one grandchild, Brianna Lewis.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Rev. Glenn Chavis and Rev. Eugene Chavis officiating. Burial will follow in Benson\\chr(39)s Chapel Church Cemetery in Rowland, NC.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont.
