Mr. Archie Leondous Callahan, age 63, Fayetteville, NC died Wednesday November 10, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Health Systems in Fayetteville. He was born February 24, 1947 in Robeson County, NC.

Mr. Callahan was a decorated veteran who retired from the US Air Force as a TSgt (E-6); after serving in the Army as a Green Beret. He served 6 tours in Viet Nam with the special forces.

Services for Mr. Callahan will be Private.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leondous Callahan.

Mr. Callahan is survived by his wife, Pat Callahan of the home; his mother,Eleanora Wady Callahan of Fairmont; 2 sons, Joseph Callahan of Lumberton and James Callahan of Fort Drum, NY; 2 daughters, Jenna Diamond of Albany, NY and Jessica Hennen of Medina, OH; 1 brother Kenneth Callahan of Barnesville; 4 sisters, Emily Collins & Myrtle Parker both of Lumberton, Joyce Floyd of Fairmont, Angie Scott of Lake View, SC; and 7 grandchildren.
