Arbiedella Britt, 63, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017. She was born August 11, 1953 in Robeson County to the late Hampton Lee Britt and the late Dorothy Locklear Britt. She will be remembered for her years as a CNA and Ward Clerk at Linkhaw Place in Lumberton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Terry Britt and Hampton Lee Britt, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Earl Bowman of the home; one son, Tracy Lynn Porter and wife Jo Anne of Fairmont; two daughters: Tonya Porter and Johann Hunt of Lumberton and Tabitha Gatlin and husband Jerry of Orrum; four brothers: James Britt and wife Carol of Lumberton, Gordon Britt and wife Pam of Proctorville, Johnny Bass and wife Betty of Lumberton, and Ernest Locklear and wife Linda of Pembroke; one sister, Mary Ann Parker and husband Willis of Lumberton; a sister-in-law, Pearl Gist of Wade; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and very special, long-time, true friends, Joan & Frank Oxendine of Rowland.

A time of visitation will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at 4:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Locklear and Pastor William Locklear officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery.
