Anthony Jones, age 65, of Fairmont passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at his home.

He was born April 3, 1961 in Robeson County to the late Dessie Jacobs.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Loretta Wynn, Samantha Hill and Juanita Locklear; three brothers, Allen, James and Terry Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories, three sisters, Stephanie Jacobs of Stoneville, NC, Bennie Mae Edwards (Sanford) of Clinton and Williamteen Tyler (Earl) of Red Springs; three brothers, Felton Jones (Darlene), Clennie Jones (Rosie) both of Fairmont and Perry Jones of Pembroke; a niece, Tiffany Locklear of Rowland and two nephews, Patrick Hill (Amanda) of Fairmont and Derrick Hill (Jazmine McKinnon) of Orrum; a sister-in-law, Treva Jones of Fairmont.

The family would like to especially thank Derrick Hill, Jazmine McKinnon and Michael Hunt for the care that they provided to Anthony.

The family will receive friends at the home of Michael Hunt, 1127 Pleasant Hope Road, Lumberton.

A Memorial service will be held at 7:00PM on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at Charity Church of God, 2125 NC Hwy. 72 Lumberton, NC 28360
