Annie Tillman, age 81 of Greensboro, NC passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 in Greensboro, NC.

She was born April 26, 1939 in Robeson County.

Ms. Tillman was preceded in death by her parents, Ranford and Pearlie Oxendine; husband William Tillman; a son, Archie Lewis; two grandsons, Alex and Christopher Chavis; three sisters, Dorothy Lewis, Gerdie Lambert and Vicky Hammonds; two brothers, Linwood and Branford Oxendine.

She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Hunt and Phillip of Greensboro, Joann Chavis and husband Glenn of Fairmont and Jennifer Lewis and Stevie of Greensboro; one son, Kenneth Lewis and Tina of Greensboro; nine grandchildren, Tiffany, Brandy, Jackie, Bridget, Ashton, Aaron, Dakota, Harlon, Carrie; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great grandchild; four sisters, Letha Bartley, Reatha Scott, Leslie Ledwell and her special sister, Berta Chavis; two brothers, William Oxendine and Elwood Oxendine; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Graveside service will be held Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 2pm at Benson Chapel Church Cemetery in Rowland, NC.
