Mrs. Annie Ruth Davis Thompson, age 97, of Lumberton, NC, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on February 9, 1924 to the late Mike Lester Davis and the late Susan Mae Hardin Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Thompson, and her siblings: Mildred Surles, Rosa Lee Wall, Horace Davis, James Davis, and Beulah Lovette.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Rev. David Anderson officiating.
