Ms. Annie Hunt, age 72, of Fairmont, NC passed away Friday, February 3, 2023 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

Ms. Hunt was born June 14, 1950 in Robeson County, NC to the late Jimmy Scott and the late Dora Hunt Scott.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Hunt; a daughter, Robin Ann Hunt; a brother, Jimmy Scott; seven sisters, Anna Bell Hunt, Barbara Hunt, Louise Scott, Mary Helen Hunt, Anice Scott, Sarah Frances Locklear, and Linda Covington.

She is survived by six daughters, Troy Ann Kirk (Toderick) of Roxboro, NC, Cathy Hunt (James Flanders), Valentino Hunt (Gerald), Samantha Jones, Makayla Wright, all of Lumberton, NC and Marlena Hunt of Fairmont, NC; two brothers, Randy and Ronald Scott both of Fairmont, NC; one sister, Letha Scott of Fairmont, NC; seventeen grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren; a special friend, Catherine Oxendine, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday February 6, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services 1549 Marion Stage Rd. Fairmont, NC.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Fair Point Freewill Baptist Church 1862 Marion Stage Rd. Fairmont, NC with Revs. Charles Cummings and Timmy Hunt officiating.

Burial will follow in Lumbee Memorial Gardens 774 Moss Neck Rd. Lumberton, NC.
