Mrs. Annie Jane Locklear of GlenFlora Nursing Home 5701 Fayetteville Rd. Lumberton, NC was born April 27, 1924 in Marlboro County departed this life on Thursday January 15, 2015 making her journey of 90 years. A time of visitation will be held Saturday January 17, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont and at the home of Mary Locklear. A funeral service will be held Sunday January 18, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Fairpoint Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Chavis officiating. Mrs. Locklear was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Locklear; her parents Murchison and Mary Annie Hunt; one son, Glen Locklear; four sisters, Rosie Hunt, Mattie Oxendine, Parlie Oxendine, and Anna Thomas; three brothers, Norman Hunt, Worth Hunt, and Joseph Hunt. Mrs. Locklear is survived by three daughters, Rosie Locklear, Patricia Thomas both of Lumberton, NC and Mary A. Locklear of Fairmont, NC; four sons, Carl Locklear Jr. of Rowland, NC, James Willie Locklear of Lumberton, NC, Rev. Daniel Locklear, and Rev. Tracy Locklear both of Fairmont, NC; twenty grandchildren, thirty great- grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and special health care workers from GlenFlora Nursing Home and a host of relatives and friends.
