Annie Bell Hunt Thomas, age 74, of Lumberton, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on February 6, 1949 to the late Luke Hunt and the late Callie Scott Hunt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Townsend; eight brothers, Will Hunt, Troy Hunt, Sanford Hunt, Wilbert Hunt, Luke Hunt, Buddy Hunt, Robert Hunt and Delton Hunt and one sister, Susie Bell Jones.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Thomas, of the home; one son, Dean Thomas (Amy) of Lumberton; a brother, Tommy Hunt of Lumberton; one granddaughter, Harmonie Strickland and two grandsons, Zack Ransom and Jobe Ransom; and many special nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 1:00-3:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will follow the visitation on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at 3:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel.  Burial will follow at New Point Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumberton.
