Annie Sue Conner, age 71, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville, NC.

She was born on May 16, 1954 in Lumberton to the late David Conner and Lucy Smith Conner.

Annie will be greatly missed by many. She loved to spend time with her family and especially her grandsons, Liam and Logan. Annie was a former insurance agent. Although her health made it impossible to continue working, she remained as active as she possibly could. Annie enjoyed spending time outdoors and trips to beach.

Annie is survived by her son, Jason Wood; a daughter, Whitney Connor; grandsons, Liam Wood and Logan Wood; brothers, David Conner and wife, Theresa, Billy Conner and wife, Phyllis and Jerry Conner; sisters, Connie Taylor and husband Donald, Jennie Higley and husband, Buddy, Cathi Davis and husband, Phil, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC 28358.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC 28385. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Rd, Lumberton, NC 28358.
