Annie Muriel Gray Byrd of Orrum died Monday September 27, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will he held Thursday September 30, 2010 at Floyd Memorial Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Revs. Steve Johnson and James Graham officiating. Family will receive friends Wednesday September 20, 2010 at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont from 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Proctorville Baptist Church 206 W. Main St. Proctorville, NC 28375.

Preceded in death by husband Howard Byrd, 2 children, Steve Byrd and Larry Byrd, 3 brothers, Ruben, Hubert, and Sam Gray, 2 sisters, Blanch Sellers and Gertrude Britt.

Survived by 1 son, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Byrd of Orrum, 1 daughter, Pat McCormick and husband Larry of Fairmont, 2 sisters, Ruth Hutchinson of Columbia SC and Edna DeBoise of Lumberton NC, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
