Annette Oxendine, age 75 of S. Chicken Rd. Fairmont passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 18, 2014 at Fairpoint Baptist Church at 4:00 PM with Revs. Ricky Burnette and Larry Oxendine officiating. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. Burial will follow in New Bethel Holiness Methodist Church Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Oxendine and Treva Oxendine; two brothers, Valdoson Oxendine and Carey Oxendine; and one sister, Helen Oxendine. She is survived by her son, Jackie Oxendine of the home; three daughters, Vonda Oxendine of Lumberton, Judy Oxendine of Fairmont, and Carol Ann Oxendine of Largo, FL; five sisters, Verdice Locklear and husband J.R. of Fairmont, Teresa Blue and husband Grant of Fairmont, Edith Hunt of Lumberton, Tammy Taylor and husband Bobby of Pembroke, and Dorothy Oxendine Hunt of Lumberton; six brothers, Jimmy Oxendine and wife Cathy of Fairmont, Levon Oxendine of Fairmont, Arthur Oxendine and wife Bobbie of Pembroke, Timmy Oxendine and wife Angie of Lumberton, and Willie Oxendine and Henry Oxendine, both of Lumberton; three grandchildren, Sherika Scott and husband Sylvester, Tristen Brooks, and Brandon Oxendine; one great-grand child, Jerami Scott; two special friends, Winford Bullard and Mary Alice Stephens; and a host of other relatives and friends.
