Mrs. Claudia Ann Watts Britt, age 77, of Orrum, NC, left for her eternal home on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, while surrounded by her loved ones at home. She was born in Robeson County, NC on October 25, 1942 to the late E.J. Watts and the late Athea Stone Watts. She began her career in banking at Waccamaw Bank and United Carolina Bank, continuing with various banks until her retirement. Ann was an avid lover of Disney World and loved everything Disney. She was a beloved mother, sister, friend, wife, and nana.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshal Thomas Britt; her grandmother, Viola Stone; a sister, Pamela Britt; and her beloved poodle, Sophie.

She is survived by two daughters, Tina Dawson and husband Mickey and Toni Sampson and husband Kelvin, both of Lumberton, NC; her companion and the father of her children, Simpson Barnes of the home; a brother, Jeff McLean and wife Beverly of Lumberton, NC; three sisters: Debbie Britt and husband Ernest and Lynn Andrews, both of Lumberton, NC, and Teresa Johnson and husband Freddy of St. Pauls, NC; a brother-in-law, George Britt of Rockingham, NC; and three grandchildren: Alexis Dawson-Atkins and husband Daniel of Wilmington, NC, and Alexander Sampson and Jillian Sampson, both of Lumberton, NC.

All services will be private.
