Angela Hunt, age 62, of Fairmont, NC entered into her Heavenly Eternal home on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

Angela was born December 7, 1963 in Robeson County to the late Edesel "Jack" Hunt and the late Carrie Mae Chavis Hunt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Earlene Hunt, Mandy "Maggie" Locklear, and Linda Locklear; a brother, Alex Scott and a special brother-in-law, James C. Deese.

Angela was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and expressed unwavering love to everyone she knew. She lived life defined by kindness, compassion and devotion to her family. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren and her family. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and generous heart created lasting memories that her loved ones will treasure forever.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, James Hunt, Jr. of the home; a daughter, Adrian Hunt; a son, Matthew Hunt (Cierra) all of Fairmont, NC; four grandchildren, Mykaden Hunt, Mavric Hunt, Calianna Hunt, and Memphyz Hunt; four brothers, Bishop Clyde (Monnie), of Selma, NC, Bishop Larry Wayne Hunt (Monna) of Wilson Mills, NC, Kevin Hunt (Amy) of Augusta, GA., and Bracey Scott (Ethel) of Maxton, NC; four sisters, Genice "Gen" Hunt and Lessie Locklear both of Pembroke, NC, Rosemary Deese and Elaine McGirt (Mark), both of Fairmont, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the love she shared and the example she set. Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished, the lives she touched, and the countless memories that we shared with her that will continue to bring comfort and smiles for years to come.

A visitation will be Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc.,1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont. Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel at 3:00 PM with Bishop's Larry and Clyde Hunt. Burial will follow in McDonald Church of God Cemetery, 8669 NC Hwy. 130 East, Fairmont.
