Angela Lee Griffith Ball, age 53, passed away on Thursday, January 8 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville, NC. Angela was born on August 10, 1972 in Louisa, Kentucky to Leroy Griffith and Brenda Leu Daniels Griffith. In addition to her parents, Angela was preceded in death by a infant son.

Angela will be missed by many friends and family. In March Angela and Chris would have celebrated 20 years in marriage. They met and fell in love and immediately began building a life together. A few years later her greatest joy came when their daughter, Elizabeth, was born. She was a line operator at Alamac Knitting Mill and later went back to work with Security. Angela left public work to enjoy traveling with Chris, and her favorite places to visit were the Gulf of Mexico and the upper Appalachian Mountains. They made many trips there exploring the area. Angela was an avid gardener, especially herbs.

Angela is survived by her husband; Christopher Michael Ball, daughter; Elizabeth Estelle Ball of the home, sister; Cynthia Dawn Griffith, brother; Anthony Griffith and spouse; James Jaron, niece; Cheyenne Scott, cousin; Christina Balzer.

In lieu of flowers, Angela's wishes were for donations to be made to a charity of your choice or plant a tree in her memory.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
