Anetha Nance Blackwell, age 82, of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Moore County Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. She was born September 29, 1935 in Robeson County to the late Arther Nance and the late Ruby Willoughby Nance. She was formerly employed in customer service at Walmart.

She is survived by her husband, Earl Blackwell of the home; two sons: Jackie Spillers (Freida) of Fairmont and Samuel Spillers (Cecilia) of St. Pauls; one daughter, Carolyn Spillers Carter (Perry) of Dunn; eight grandchildren: Guy Spillers, Paul Spillers, Stephen Spillers, Gloria Carr, James Roberts, Zack Roberts, Frankie Spillers, and Racell Catubo; nine great-grandchildren: Cambria, Maia, and Abrielle Spillers, Benjamin and Samantha Spillers, Joe and Paisley Roberts, Aubreigh Berry, and Logan Leuenburger; two brothers: Bill Nance and Murphy Nance, both of Lumberton; and two sisters: Cletus Hickman and Juanita Parnell, both of Lumberton.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 20, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tim Tyner, Rev. Tim Rice, and Mr. Gary Nance officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton.
