Ammie Maxine Culbreth, 83, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at The Carrolton of Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 26, 1939 to the late William & Kathleen Tyndall.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Steven Culbreth, Sr., and her brothers: Billy Ray Tyndall, Ronald Wayne "Teenie" Tyndall, and Larry Curtis Tyndall.

She is survived by her sons: Danny Culbreth and wife Jennifer Stone, Greg Wayne Culbreth, and John William Culbreth and wife Amy, all of Lumberton, NC; her daughter, Sharon Lynette Culbreth of Lumberton, NC; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Shirley Tyndall DeMartino of Calabash, NC.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Rev. George Connor officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 1590 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
