Alvin Lee Fields, known lovingly by his family as "Cause, Cause", passed away at home on Monday, September 18, 2023, at the age of 60. He loved music and riding around his hometown of Lumberton on his scooter visiting his family and making new friends.

Alvin was preceded in death by his father Carroll Fields.

He is survived by his mother, Annie Ruth Fields; his sister, Lois Jacobs (husband Donnie); and two older brothers: Steve Fields (wife Cyndi) and James Fields; along with a host of nieces and nephews and a special family friend, Brennon Dial, to keep his memory alive.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM and burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.

Family and friends are welcome to visit his sister Lois Jacobs's home after the services.
