Alton Hunt, age 67, of Fairmont, NC passed away on Monday, September 09, 2013 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County, NC on December 14, 1945 to the late Livingston P. Hunt and the late Juanita Deal Hunt. He was a truck driver. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carmella Hunt and two sisters, Olive Pinnix and Blummie Hunt. Mr. Hunt is survived by his sons, Alton Jefferson, Hunt, Jr. of Fairmont, Joseph Hunt of SC, Carvey Hunt and Alton Hunt, Jr. both of Okeechobee, FL, and Richard Hunt of TX; daughter, Lisa Marie Hunt of Okeechobee, FL; step-children, Tony Brabbs, Dan Brabbs, Kimberly Harvey, Gary Brabbs, Kristina Brabbs, Andrew Brabbs, and Shannon Bisbee; companion, Mary Lee Brayboy of the home; a brother, Jimmy Hunt of OH; a sister, Gracie Lee Locklear of Lumberton; thirty-seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. No services are planned at this time.
