Alta Lucille Key Spivey, age 76, of Red Springs, NC died on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on March 29, 1941 to the late Daniel Fred and Glennie Alma McCaskill Key.  She previously worked for Oliver Oil Company.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger McDaniel Spivey; and brothers, Daniel Fred Key, Jr. and Edward Lee Key.

Mrs. Spivey is survived by a daughter, Keyna Spivey Pittman (Mike) of Lumberton; a sister, Alice Fay Key Wood (Trent) of Red Springs; grandchildren, Madison Brooke Pittman and Matthew "Matt" McDaniel Pittman; nephews, Edward Lee Key, Jr., Larry Kenneth Berry, Jr., Johnny Edwin Berry, Glenn Kevin Berry, and Adam Eugene Rugg; and a host of great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Westside Baptist Church in Red Springs with Rev. Dennis Harrell and Rev. Mike Pittman officiating.  Burial will follow in Alloway Cemetery in Red Springs.  A time of visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30-2:30 PM at the church.
