Mrs. Alison Smith Lopez Almodovar, age 42, of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016, at North Shore Hospital in Miami, FL. She was born on September 25, 1973 in Orlando, FL. She was formerly employed as the Photo Department Manager at Wal-Mart.

She is survived by her parents, William C. & Sharon H. Smith of Fuquay-Varina, NC; her husband Harry Lopez Almodovar of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; 1 brother, William D. Smith and wife Nina of Willow Springs, NC; 1 sister, Scarlet Smith Williams and husband Jared of Willow Springs, NC; and 5 nephews: Joshua & Wesley Williams and Cayden, Oakley, & Carson Smith.

A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Sunday, March 20, 2016, from 1:30-3:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary& Crematory, Inc. and other times at the home of Morris & Sue Bennett, 249 Red Fox Road, Lumberton.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM in the Chapel with Rev. Jeff Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery.
