Mrs. Alice Dell Oxendine of Rowland, N.C. was born December 18, 1962 in Robeson County a daughter of the late Errol Flynn and Minnie Pearl Oxendine. She departed this life of 56 years to gain her wings on Monday, December 24, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Alice was a strong, caring, and loving mother figure to all her family and friends.

Mrs. Oxendine was preceded in death by her husband S.J. "Jack" Oxendine of 30 years; two step daughters, Chris Sampson and Michelle Oxendine; sons, James Larry, James Howard and James Oxendine.

She is survived by her four daughters, Stacie Bethea (Tyrone), Solita Oxendine (Demario) all of Rowland, Karen Oxendine, and Courtney Mills (Quame) all of Texas; three step-daughters, Nicole Oxendine of Maxton, Darlene Seay of Fayetteville and Annette Oxendine of Hickory; two step-sons, Keith Oxendine of Hope Mills and Kenny Ray Oxendine (Kathleen) of Lumberton; three sisters, Janice Strickland (Steve), Lora Ann Locklear(Ronald) all of Pembroke, Cynthia Thompson (Arnele) of Rowland; one brother, Errol Flynn Oxendine, Jr. of Pinehurst; a special aunt Peggy Oxendine, one special sister Alicia Bollinger, two special brothers, Timmy and Donald Ray Hunt, a special sister-in-law, Cricket Oxendine, a special granddaughter, Jza-Qera Thompson, several grands and great grans; and a host of other relatives and friends.
