Alice "Faye" Townsend Moore, age 78, of Lumberton, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019. She was born in Robeson County on August 8, 1940 to the late William Brooks Townsend, Sr. and the late Vida Walters Townsend.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Moore; and one brother, William Brooks Townsend, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Robert Timothy "Tim" Moore of the home and Tammy Faye Moore Riden (Paul) of Lumberton; two grandchildren, Matthew Neil Riden and Joshua Paul Riden; four sisters: Emogene Tyner of Bolivia, NC, Barbara Hendricks (Frank) of Nags Head, NC, Vivian Hilliard of Hope Mills, NC, and Louise Rising of St. Pauls, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
