Mrs. Alice Grey Williams Johnson, 87, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Cypress Glen Continuing Care Community in Greenville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 2pm at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont.

Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson, a native of Sampson County, attended Campbell University and Meredith College. She spent most of her adult life in Fairmont, NC. She worked as an English teacher/libarian in Fairmont City Schools, was active in the Fairmont First Baptist Church of Fairmont where she served as church libarian, and was a former president of the Fairmont Woman\\chr(39)s Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Johnson, daughter, Teresa J. Sealey; and a grandson, John D. Bjorkman.

She is survived by a daughter, Sylvia J. Bjorkman and husband, David of Greenville, NC; grandson, William (Will) E. Bjorkman of Greenville, granddaughters, Sarah E. Sealey of Garner, NC and Aleisha S. Green of Renton, Washington.
