Alice Vivian Stone Ivey, age 82, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born January 27, 1936 in Robeson County to the late Palmer Stone and the late Sadie Lee Stone. She will be remembered for her years as a caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Redmond Ivey, Jr.; and two children: Dickie Redmond Ivey and Emily Elizabeth Ivey.

She is survived by 2 sons: Johnny Ivey of Concord and Gerald Ivey of Proctorville; 2 daughters: Vickie Grooms (Allen) of Long Branch and Marie Stewart of Red Springs; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and 2 brothers: Clifton Stone (Vivian) of Lumberton and Cecil Stone of Chapel Hill.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 4, 2018, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Ivey Cemetery in Broadridge.
